With nearly 9,000 campsites, Michigan International Speedway is the largest registered campground in the State of Michigan. Each year, thousands of campers arrive at Michigan International Speedway during NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events, spending the weekend camping out with their family and friends, and many leave with new ones.

Northwood and Northfield Campgrounds are located across from the track, off US 12. Enter off US 12 by the big red barn.
Northwoods Campground only offers tent camping.
Northfield Campground offers tent and pop-up camping.

Private and exclusive camping area situated along pit road, you’ll be able to sit back, relax and enjoy a great weekend of racing. Pit Road Motorcoach RV Campground is for Class A motorcoaches only, one tow vehicle per site

Grandstand tickets are not good for infield admission. Children 12 and under admitted free

Vehicle Exit and Entry
Infield Line-Up on M-50 opens at 8:00 a.m. Monday of race week. The Infield Cross-Over opens for vehicle entry beginning Thursday afternoon approximately 4:00 p.m. and remains open until approximately ½ hour prior to the next day’s activities. Infield Cross-Over reopens daily upon conclusion of on-track activities. Vehicles must remain parked after entering the infield.

Infield must be cleared of vehicles by 12 Noon on Monday following the event.


Infield Vehicle Restrictions
Flags and Banners should not rise above the roofline of your vehicle. No platforms more than 12 inches above the roofline of your vehicle. No scaffolds allowed.


Overnight Parking
Overnight Parking is very limited and available on a first come/first serve basis. Vehicle must be present to purchase. We encourage your guests to arrive in the same vehicle/camping unit with you. This is a courtesy and should not be considered a certainty when making your plans. Passes are $25 and are sold at the entrance to camper line-up. Overnight Parking passes are for a designated parking area and do not allow access to drive in and out of the infield. NOTE: Only vehicles with an OVERNIGHT PARKING PASS can park in this designated area.

Exiting The Infield
Vehicles will not be able to exit the Infield on Sunday until at least 2 - 3 hours AFTER the conclusion of the race. Please be our guest and stay Sunday evening. All campgrounds must be cleared by 12 noon on Monday. Pedestrians will be able to exit the Infield through the Tunnel by Turn 1, the U.S. 12 Crossover and the M50 Crossover. On Sunday Infield guests will be able to exit Infield Gate 40 at 7:00 a.m. for access to the Fan Plaza
