Default Smoking at MIS

The State Of Michigan enacted a new No Smoking Law about a month ago.

If you want to know more about it, google it and read it....but I'm here to fill you in on how it will effect YOUR visit to Michigan Intl Speedway for NASCAR events.

After a conversation with the MIS PR director Dennis Worden, here is how I understand the smoking law will work at MIS.

No Smoking in grandstand or under grandstands,
sky boxes,pit suite area.

Smoking in infield, camping areas, parking areas.

I'm not sure about the Fan Plaza area behind the main grandstand.

Many people from out of state may not know about the new law, we'll see how or if this will effect things at all.

Default 3 smoking areas at MIS

I found more information for the smokers attending the MIS races.

Smokers may choose to smoke in open-air areas :

Behind the main grandstand - New Holland Fan Plaza
Parking Lots
Campgrounds
